Car rental in Tanzania
XCAR offers comprehensive insurance package on all car rentals. This also covers for third party property damage, third party injury and passengers liability for those traveling in rental cars of XCAR.
The policy does not cover for loss of personal property, vehicle accessories (jack wheel, spanners, etc.) and medical expenses. The policy has an excess amount of USD 200 per vehicle. The excess is the amount you as our customer (on self drive basis) will contribute to total repair costs in case of damage to the vehicle. Before collecting the vehicle, you will be required to leave behind a deposit equal to the excess amount, which will be refunded at the end of rental duration (if no damage or loss occurs to the vehicle or its accessories).
