Insurance Policy
XCAR offers comprehensive insurance package on all of its vehicles. This also covers for third party property damage, third party injury and passenger liability for those traveling in the rented XCAR vehicle. The policy excludes/ does not cover for loss of personal property, vehicle accessories (jack, wheel spanners etc) and medical expenses.
Policy Excess
The policy has an excess amount of US$350 per vehicle. The excess is the amount the renter of the vehicle (on self drive basis) will contribute to total repair costs in case of damage to the vehicle. Before collecting the vehicle, the renter will be required to leave behind a deposit equal to the excess amount, which will be refunded at the end of rental duration (if no damage or loss occurs to the vehicle or its accessories).
